Facility opened to perform tests and demonstrations

The Blue Cap Foundation opened a facility on 19 April 2012 in which to perform tests and demonstrations with the intention of improving safety in swimming pools. Together with the University of Twente in the Netherlands we will use this facility to investigate the causes of dangerous vacuum suction in pools. The Foundation will also use this facility to give scientific verification to the solution that it has found. In May 2012 we have been invited by the European Commission (Directorate-General Health and Consumers) to present our findings to representatives from 27 countries.
